Abstract
This document contains the proceedings of a conference entitled "Eyes Wide Open: Breast Cancer and the Environment," that took place in Peterborough, Ontario in [sic] October of 2001. The keynote speaker, Dr. Samuel Epstein, emphasized how cancer organizations are becoming more corporate in their actions, focusing more on treatment options and the generation of money instead of public health prevention.
