    Abstract: <p>The synthesis of biaryls through transition metal catalyzed cross-coupling reactions has been instrumental for synthetic organic chemists. The Hiyama reaction, which features organosilicon derived cross-coupling partners with aryl chlorides, remains relatively underdeveloped compared to other cross-coupling reactions.
