Abstract:

The schoolyard plays an important role in the healthy development of students and is a space that can be used not only for academic learning, but also for fostering a sense of community. 'Greening' or building natural environments in schoolyards can enhance the overall educational experience of the child, and may even have an impact later in in their adult life.

Abstract:

Since 1885, there have been four Protestant hospitals in Peterborough, Ontario - Moira Hall, Nicholls Hospital, Peterborough Civic Hospital, and Peterborough Regional health Centre (PRHC). The administration records of these hospitals have been collected into the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Archives along with material from independent hospital organizations such as Women's Auxiliary, School of Nursing Alumnae and the Museum and Archives collection.

Abstract:

Working with the help of tekdesk in Peterborough, Ontario, the purpose of this project was to explore the different threats and security concerns of small businesses and non-profits. The research was done via an analysis of literature on various security concerns pertaining directly to networks and databases.

Marrick's Landing Resort in Burleigh Falls is suitable for nature trail development in a two-phase process that will enable safe, scenic and enjoyable hiking and show shoeing activities. This experience will be strengthened through the use of the accompanying site-specific nature trail interpretive manual outlining existing species of flora and fauna, information about what species to look for and when, recommended trail etiquette and a map of trails at Marrick's Landing.
