Diversity among volunteers of the Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre
At the request of the Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre (KSAC), this report was completed to evaluate diversity among the Centre's pool of volunteers. After deciding on a set of categories (race, culture, language, age, sexual orientation, physical disability, religion and class) as a definition of 'diversity' the authors of this report carried out research at KSAC and the larger Peterborough community through both interviews and surveys.

Come cook with us
The Peterborough Health Unit received funding to help subsidize the pre-existing community kitchens and food box programs as well as to initiate the "Come Cook with Us" pilot project. The "Come Cook with Us" project has excellent potential to grow into something that is not just a "band-aid solution" for food insecurity in Peterborough but can reach directly into families' lives and promote positive change in healthy living.
